We are excited to share that the updated ScaleFunder text editor is live as of Wednesday, July 22, 2026! This upgrade is designed to improve your overall content creation experience and ease existing editing pain points.
What is Included in the Upgrade:
- Enhanced Paste Behavior: Improved handling for content copied and pasted from Word, Excel, and external web sources. This includes better formatting retention and seamless support for pasted images.
- Expanded Editing Controls: Additional formatting options in full editor areas, including expanding font selections, font sizes, paragraph styles, line height, lists, tables, links, print options, and toolbar enhancements.
- Improved Media Workflow: Managing media is now much easier with support for image gallery reuse, inline image editing controls, alt text, alignment, resizing, responsive video embeds (where enabled), and supported image uploads up to 40MB.
- Email Editor Updates: Email editing areas now utilize email-safe inline styling, controlled font-size options, default image sizing, and configured merge fields. Unsupported email content, such as embedded video, will continue to be restricted for deliverability.
- Updated Security Defaults: To keep your platform secure, pasted content is cleaned more aggressively, unsafe markup is automatically removed, external links use safer handling protocols, and higher-risk upload paths (such as SVGs and remove image URL imports) have been disabled.
